Siding Repair & Replacement
GEJ Roofing also handles siding repair and full replacement, along with fascia and soffit repair – exterior work that often comes up alongside a roof job, especially on older homes where years of moisture exposure can hide damage behind the siding itself.
Why Siding and Trim Matter
Siding is your home’s first line of defense against wind-driven rain, and the fascia and soffit at the roofline protect the edge of the roof deck and attic ventilation. When any of these fail, water can get behind them and sit against the sheathing and framing for a long time before it ever shows up as a visible leak inside the house. Catching and repairing that damage early – or replacing siding that’s past the point of patching – protects the structure underneath it, not just the appearance of the house.
What’s included
- Full siding replacement
- Siding repair – patching damaged or rotted sections
- Fascia board repair and replacement
- Soffit repair
- Sheathing and trim repair where water damage is found
A Real Example: Full Siding Replacement
GEJ Roofing did a full siding replacement on an older Tennessee home on August 28, 2018, when the business operated as a sole proprietorship – before it was formalized as GEJ Roofing LLC in 2025. Pulling the original siding uncovered water-damaged sheathing and trim that had been hidden underneath for years – a common discovery on older homes once the old siding comes off. Damaged sections of sheathing were patched and repaired before the new siding went on.
Warranty on This Work
Siding, fascia, and soffit repair is backed by the same 5-year workmanship warranty GEJ Roofing puts behind every job, under normal conditions. See GEJ Roofing’s full warranty details.
